Dual Eligible consumers are consumers who have both Medicare and Medicaid. Starting January 1, 2006, dual eligible consumers who have Original Medicare and one of the Medicaid HMOs listed below, will be auto-enrolled into a Medicare HMO unless they choose to opt out.
