Lauren Dempsey is the VOCA Victim Advocate and Community Liaison in PHLP’s Philadelphia office.
Prior to PHLP, Ms. Dempsey was the court advocate intern at Central Division Victim Services where she assisted victims of crime navigate through the tedious legal processes within the justice system, as well as providing them with the necessary resources to begin healing from their victimizations. She is a recent graduate of Temple University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.
Lauren is passionate about advocating for the equal rights for all, specifically those who are marginalized by our healthcare and justice systems. She believes that it is vital that everyone is provided with all necessary resources and opportunities to live fulfilling lives.
