Two Upcoming PHLP Webinars

Don't Take No for an Answer: Challenging Medicaid & CHC Waiver Service Denials
Nov 10, 2020 10:00 AM – 11 AM

For decades we have observed managed care plans limit services (e.g., home health care) to medically complex children. Now we are seeing older adults and people with disabilities enrolled in Community HealthChoices (CHC) whose managed care plans are denying them the level of home and community-based waiver services that they need to live safely at home.

Join us as we discuss how to file an appeal challenging service denials by CHC and Physical HealthChoices managed care plans. At the end of this webinar, attendees will be empowered to "not take no for an answer" if their or their loved one's insurance plan denies, reduces, or stops a service.

This training is open to Participants, Family Members, Caregivers, Advocates, and people who provide nursing, home health aide, and Personal Assistance Services for people on Medicaid and/or Waiver.
